Brenda is the author of books and educational material for children of all ages. Her titles include the chapter books Trusty Trekkers and Lizard Tongue and the illustrated information book Monster Sharks: Megalodon and other prehistoric predators of the deep.
In 2018 Brenda won first place in the CYA Conference writing competition in Chapter books for younger primary aged children for The fabulous cakes of Zinnia Jakes. She was also awarded third place in Chapter books for older primary aged children. The fabulous cakes of Zinnia Jakes has recently been accepted for publication by New Frontier Publishing. Brenda also has a middle-grade fiction book with Heinemann due for release in 2019.
She is an accredited editor with IPEd, the Institute of Professional Editors in Australia.
Brenda lives in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, Australia.
